Wednesday women’s stableford and round of Silver Spoon
The wintry weather certainly set in for the women’s stableford event with 40 women participating.
Gerri Griffin played steady golf to return the best score of the day winning A grade & Silver Spoon with 35pts, with Glen Dixon coming runners up on a countback with 34pts.
B grade winner was Rhonda Dunbar on a countback from Helen Beattie both finishing with 33pt.
Ball run down Di Raymond 34, Robyn Holcombe, Margie Hadley 31, Jo Forsyth & Enid Smith 30pts.

Hamilton Golf Club – President’s Gala Day – 2 person pinehurst
70 players participated in the 2 person Pinehurst event, with visitors from Heywood, Grampians, Parklands, Warrnambool, Portland, Port Fairy, Willaura, Mooralla and Terang.
Winners were Judy Pekin & Kerryn Price 72 nett, runners up Jenny Meade & Debbie Milne 73.875 nett, 3rd Sue Walter & Di Sevior 76.375 nett and 4th place went to Nola Beks & Anne Ryan 78 nett on a countback.

Results from Wednesday 4th May
The women had their monthly medal stroke and putting competition with 46 players participating.
Shellie Peardon continued her very good form winning the monthly medal and A grade for the second month in a row finishing with 97 (24) 73nett. Runners up was Enid Smith with 74 nett.
B grade was won by Eileen Robertson who has also been in the winning circle quite frequently. Robertson finished with 121 (44) 77 to win on a countback from Elaine Rentsch.
Balls down the line went to Venita Mibus, Jeantette Carmichael 76, Suzanne Bensch, Kath Hartwich 78 and Helen Holcombe 79 nett.
NTP’s 3rd – Pam King, 6th Lynne Mooney, 16th Sandy Vanrenen, longest putt 9th Sandy Vanrenen, longest putt 13th Margie Hadley, 2nd shot 15th Alma Fonda.
Lyn Satchell had the putter firing winning the putting competition with 27 putts.

53 women played in the Wednesday par competition with Rosemary Belcher claiming player of the day and C grade winner with a very handy +5.
A grade winner Robyn Holcombe +2, runners up Alma Fonda +1 on a countback.
B grade winner Kath Harwich +2, runners up Sally Robertson +1
C grade winner Rosemary Belcher +5, runners up Eileen Robertson +2

Wednesday women’s results
The women played partners aggregate stableford for the Hyslop McKellar Cup and the winning pair were Di Raymond and Jo Forsyth with 78pts, runners up were Deb Pinniger and Jane Bunge 75 and in 3rde spot Anne Ryan and Kavell Lyons 71pts.
Best score of the day and winner of A grade was Anne Ryan with a handy 41 pts from runners up Jo Forsyth on a countback from Di Raymond both finishing with 39pts.
B grade winner was Jane Bunge with 38pts on a countback from Jenny Edwards.
NTP’s 3rd- Rhonda Scullion, 6th Anne Ryan, 16th Careena Macdonald, 2nd shot 15th Jane Bunge, longest putt 9th Gaynor Eats, longest putt 13th Rhonda Dunbar.
Tuesday beginners & emerging golfers
19 players took to the course on Tuesday with our Beginners group winner Jen Upton with a fantastic 33 points, runners up Aaron Martin 29pts, Margie Laidlaw 28pts and rounding out the results Alan McLaughlan 27pts.
The Emerging group had Nicky Martin with the best score on 28pts from Di MacKirdy26pts, Lisa Murphy 25pts and Julie Templeton 21pts.
Congratulations to Bec Small, Julie Templeton and Chantal Butcher on getting an official handicap from Golf Australia.
