Hamilton Golf Club - results from womens July monthly medal - 3/7/2024
47 women took to the course on Wednesday playing for July monthly medal, stroke and putting event. 
Fran McMeel was the winner of July monthly medal finishing with 97 (23) 74 nett, McMeel was also the B grade winner, finishing one shot ahead of Kavell Lyons 75 nett.
A grade was a very close affair with the first three placing’s being decided on a three way countback.  Jo Forsyth came out on top with Anne Ryan taking out runner’s up both on 75 nett. 
C grade winner was Eileen Robertson 75 nett from Lisa Murphy 76 nett.
Balls down the line went to Kerryn Price 75 nett, Di Raymond and Jane Bunge 76 nett, Rita Walkom and Jenny Edwards 77 nett. 
Nearest the pin on 3rd hole went to Anne Ryan, 6th was won by Lyn Satchell, 16th went to Debbie Milne, longest putt on 13th was won by Joan Lewis, second shot on 15th Di Raymond.  The putting was won by Molly O’Brien with 28 putts. 
Next week the women start their winter competition which means over the next two months they will be playing stableford, there are no starters and no nearest the pin competition during this period.

Hamilton Golf Club - results from women's July monthly medal - 3/7/2024
47 women took to the course on Wednesday playing for July monthly medal, stroke and putting event.

Balls down the line went to Rose Tonissen -1, Sue Bensch and Gaynor Eats -2, Pam King and Fiona Robertson -3, Cheryl Brinkmann -4, Wendy Wathen and Elaine Rentsch -5.

A good field of 53 players took part in the women’s stableford event. 
Winner of A grade was Debbie Milne with 38pts, runner’s up was Robyn Holcombe with 36pts. 
B grade was very close with Karen Payne taking out first place on a countback from the inform Dawn Cay both finishing with 37pts.
C grade winner and best score of the day went to Pam King who finished with a very handy 39pts, runner’s up was Penny Fraser 36pts. 
Balls down the line went to Marlene Clarke 36pts, Lyn O’Brien & Gail Dimond 35pts, Gillian Jenkins, Jo Forsyth, Rhonda Scullion, Helen Beattie, Sue Vickery and Rita Walkom all 34pts. 
Nearest the pin on 3rd hole went to Jo Forsyth, 6th was won by Cheryl Brinkmann, 16th was won by Carolyn Lewis. Longest putt on 13th Wendy Wathen and second shot on 15th hole Robyn Holcombe. 
Last Friday the final of the Hazeldene Wine’s Shield was played with Bec Small and Chantal Butcher combining to take out this straight foursomes stroke event with a very handy 72 nett, the next best score was Jo Forsyth and Enid Smith on 76 nett. 
Next week the women will be playing par and it will be a shotgun start 9:30am for 10am hit off.

Results from Hamilton Golf Club Womens Doris Chambers Foursomes - 12/6/2024

50 women participated in the women’s Doris Chamber’s Foursomes event, with Kerryn Price and Robyn Holcombe taking out the honours with 36pts from runner’s up Lisa Murphy and Pam King 34pts.
Balls down the line went to Bec Small & Chantal Butcher 32pts, Lyn Satchell & Ath Archer, and Tania Cullinane & Nettie Purvis 31pts. 
Nearest the pin on 3rd hole went to Robyn Holcombe and 16th was won by Deirdre Simkin. 
Price and Holcombe will now go onto play in the State Final of the Doris Chambers which is played at Sanctuary Lakes in October. 
Friday players qualifying from todays event will play for the Hazeldene Wines Shield which is a straight foursomes stroke event.

Next Wednesday is a stableford event.
